Mahesh Babu is now coming up with a wholesome family entertainer Dookudu
హీరో అండర్ కవర్ కాప్..పోకిరి. హీరో పోలీస్ ఇన్ ఫార్మర్..ఇడియట్! పోకిరి లో అండర్ కవర్ కాప్ గా అదరగొట్టిన పండుగాడు, పోలీస్ ఇన్ ఫార్మర్ గా ‘దూకుడు’ ప్రదర్శించడానికి రాబోతున్నాడు. మహేష్ ని పోలీస్ ఇన్ ఫార్మర్ గా చూపిస్తున్న శ్రీనువైట్ల చిత్రం ‘దూకుడు’ జూన్ రిలీజ్ కి దూకుడుగా షూటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటోంది.
సమ్మర్ లో రిలీజ్ కావాల్సిన ఈ చిత్రం అనివార్య కారణాల వల్ల ఆలస్యమై లేట్ సమ్మర్ కి వాయిదా పడింది. ప్రస్తుతం ఏకధాటిగా షూటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటున్న ఈ చిత్రం మే మూడో వారంకల్లా పూర్తవుతుందని తెలిసింది. మహేష్ ని ఇంతదాకా ఎవరూ చూపించని విధంగా వైవిధ్యభరిత పాత్రలో శ్రీను వైట్ల ‘దూకుడు’ చేస్తున్నాడట. ఖలేజాలో వెరైటీ మాడ్యులేషన్ తో ఎంటర్ టైన్ చేసిన ప్రిన్స్ ఈసారి శ్రీను వైట్ల మార్క్ కామెడీతో కడుపుబ్బా నవ్విస్తాడట.
సమంత హీరోయిన్ గా నటిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రం ఈ నెల 22 నుండి ముంబాయ్ లో షూటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటున్న యూనిట్ అక్కడ కొన్ని సన్నివేశాలు, ఓ పాట చిత్రీకరిస్తారు. టర్కీ, దుబాయ్, గుజరాత్ లలో ఎక్కువ భాగం జరుపుకున్న ఈ చిత్రాన్ని జూన్ లో రిలీజ్ చేయడానికి సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ సినిమా నిర్మాతలుగా గోపీచంద్ ఆచంట, రామ్ ఆచంట, అనిల్ సుంకర లు 14 రీల్స్‌ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్స్‌ పతాకంపై రూపొందిస్తున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రానికి తమన్ సంగీతాన్ని అందిస్తున్నారు

Maniratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan
He has roped in director Vasanth in the production team and he will be providing creative inputs for the film. In fact Vasanth has done a through research on Ponniyin Selvan book and has earlier worked with Mani Ratnam. It's already confirmed that Vijay, Mahesh Babu and Arya are playing pivotal roles in the film while Anushka plays the female lead opposite Vijay.
Buzz in the tinsel town is that Satyaraj has been roped in to do an important role of the Buddhist monk Buddha Bikku, the Sri Lankan ascetic. Mani Ratnam felt that it's only Sathya Raj who can essay this role perfectly.
This is really true as Satya Raj adds appeal to any kind of role he plays, either a film, an ad promo or a T.V. show.
Maheshbabu hits gym for well-toned body
These days Maheshbabu is regularly going to gym not for regular fitness but for a well- toned body, as he was going to appear topless in the forthcoming film to be directed by ace director Maniratnam for a bilingual film to be made in Telugu and Tamil versions.
Maheshbabu is playing the role of a prince in this film and the character is reported to be Uttama Cholan.
For the first time, Maheshbabu is appearing with a topless in his career, though such act by Allu Arjun helped to bag a hit like ‘Desamuduru’ and a flop like ‘Varudu’.
Anushka was also roped in as one of the heroines and as per the information available, she is playing the younger sister for Maheshbabu and Tamil actor Vijay’s love interest.
Search is still on for a heroine opposite Maheshbabu and it is learnt that some Bollywood heroine is being contacted for debut into the Telugu film industry.
The film is being produced by Kalanidhi Maran on the banner of Sun Pictures and Illayaraja is scoring music for the movie.
